Taking the role of a psychic investigator (which you will be reminded often), players take turns reading through the numerous cards and deciding what actions to perform through this cooperative / solo play five chapter adventure. There is some dice rolling which adds an element of luck, but for the most part it is quite easy since deaths are "just a set back".
Those two simple scales are very effective!
Premonition clues also come up every now and then, these are just picture cards with no explanation but all warn of (instant death) dangers ahead. I quite like the system used here, the artwork and the crazy story which proved to be very entertaining.
Possibly worth looking into if you liked the old choose your own adventure books. I give it 2.5 premonitions out of 5.
