Three TV series related to crime!
Steal
This short, six episode British crime series stars Sophie Turner who plays an office clerk at a financial company that is hit by an armed robbery. Good editing keeps it moving at a decent clip, and the protagonist is quite likable - unlike some of her "friends"! Getting invested enough to like or not like characters is a good thing! Recommended, and as it's a complete story I don't think it will be getting a season two.
River
This six episode British crime series stars Stellan Skarsgård who plays Detective River, who as far as I can tell really shouldn't be a police man because he talks to dead people. Well not really, because they're just in his head and they only tell him what he already knows or how he is already feeling. When you randomly talk and shout to people that aren't there well... lets just say you're not at the top of the list for being someone to defend the community. Anyway, the story and acting is ok but that whole overarching premise is quite strange (in a bad way).
Kin
This two season Irish crime drama stars Charlie Cox who plays a member of the Kinsela crime family who seem to be "middle men" when if comes to the drug trade. The first season has a few slow bits but it certainly picks up as it goes along, and its funny that despite them being somewhat infamous they also are lacking in power when compared to shows that have other crime families in that they have a healthy fear of the law and are often bullied as they're never the biggest fish in their pond. That scripted "weakness" makes it interesting! I'll definitely be watching a season three if it comes out.

Treason and The Silence
Shows where silence is important (but broken anyway)!
Treason
"An ok story with dumb characters" is not the line I wanted to type for this currently single season (five episode) spy show starring Charlie Cox, but here we are. After the MI6 boss is taken off the board it is up to his deputy (Cox) to fill his shoes but alas he and his family are some of the stupidest people in the universe and get played like fiddles pretty much right till the end. The idiot-ball aggravation and lack of comeuppances at the end make it a hard one to recommend. Should you watch it? Only if there isn't anything else on.
The Silence
When cave spelunkers inadvertently release dangerous predatory swarms of giant bat-gremlins (who probably shouldn't have survived living in an isolated cave) the USA hilariously falls apart pretty quickly, especially those who aren't able to keep quiet. Yes, its like A Quiet Place with bats in stead of aliens. This one focuses on a family (whose patriarch is played by Stanley Tucci) trying to get out of the city who have the advantage(?) of having a deaf daughter thus all of them know sign language. While it's an alright setup there are just a few too many scenes of contrivance, from "we need to keep quiet but we brought a dog" all the way up to "the film needs a villain so lets just throw one in there". Is it a bad film? No. Is it a good film? Also no. It's just entertaining, but I wouldn't watch it again.

Stardust
Falling stars are pretty.
In a world where England is separated from the magical world by a simple five foot tall stone wall, Tristan (a young Charlie Cox) goes on a quest to retrieve a fallen star for love - encountering murderous princes, evil witches, and even lightning pirates on the way.
While the plot is not entirely unpredictable, it is full of memorable scenes and ticks the boxes for both fantasy and romance which kept both my wife and I very entertained. I especially liked the magic system used and was quite amused with the decent body count. I definitely recommend this one and give it three and a half voodoo dolls out of five. Would I watch it again? Certainly!

Daredevil (TV)
With a strong script, actors, cinematography, as well as fantastic fight scenes this is easily my favorite of the Marvel Universe shows. Yes, there are some parts that falter quite badly (looking at you S2 Elektra), but for the most part it is very enjoyable mainly due to Daredevil getting fantastic foils.
These are in the form of Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin, Jon Bernthal's Punisher, and Wilson Bethel's Bullseye to name a few. My only other complaint is the conversations in foreign languages (especially early on) - I don't mind if a conversation is all in French or Japanese, but don't make one character speak one language and the other speaking English. It's just so unnatural!
Maybe that's part of the reason the show got cancelled after 3 seasons? Or maybe like Iron Fist and Luke Cage he just got Thanos-ed? Who knows! It's still worth a watch if you haven't seen it already. As a bonus the series ends on a non-cliffhanger so thumbs up for that!
Special thanks to Redbeard for giving me a heads up about the cancellation of this series.
