November 2019 Review

Ugh, keeping track of food intake is really annoying! Totally shot myself in the foot by adding that so I'm ditching them post haste. It's fine enough to measure sugar from packaged things, but how much is in a slice of cake or a buffet of tasty treats? Dumb idea Joe, real dumb. Also with the Christmas season coming up my weekends have been filling up quickly, meaning the board game sessions and other creative works are probably taking a back seat till next year. Doh!

I did do my first(?) almost all day provision of live music for a family gathering though. That was great! It doesn't usually happen since I'm in a very musical family and people take turns performing, but due to a few absences last time it was all me. That was a very interesting workout for sure!

Lastly I'm going to start heavily cutting back on those "free" games too, or dropping them faster. While there is no dollar figure attached to them, there is certainly one of time which is everyone's most valuable currency.

I played through BattleTech and found an amazing fix for the Witcher: Adventure Game which has improved it from being one my group was disinterested/bored with to one of our favorites.

I know Iron Shortage and Another Detour have been up the top since I started keeping track of these, but it's interesting Slave Rebellion has overtaken both this month. I wonder if it's to do with the number of tags?

Another reshuffle from last month - Neverwinter might be picking up as a search term with the new and ultimately disappointing Hell Pit event as well as the upcoming Infernal Descent mod.
